Counselling and Focusing

We can all experience difficulties in our lives. It’s great to have a supportive network of friends and family to help us. But sometimes our issues feel just too sensitive, complex or difficult to explain to people around us.

At times like these a professional counsellor can be of real benefit- a welcome addition to our support network.

As a professional person-centred counsellor I listen carefully to the issues and difficulties you are experiencing in your life. I work with you, in order to prioritise your wellbeing, clarify and understand the often complex and conflicting issues that are leaving you feeling unhappy, anxious or just feeling that the best of life is somehow out of your grasp.

As we work together to move your life forward, it’s important that you’re moving in the direction you choose. I don’t “push” you towards a set outcome- I value your individuality and right to live your life according to your chosen values. I don’t judge or superimpose my own.

As a person-centred counsellor I create a therapeutic relationship so that you feel heard, understood and valued, in a safe confidential space.

I believe that we have an inner sense of our own unique way forward, to realise our potential for growth and change. Counselling can untangle what is stuck, releasing our potential and resolving inner conflict.
